“And so, my friends, every day do something that does not compute. Love God. Love the world. Practice resurrection.”
-Wendell Berry
I write about how God’s presence with us and in us opens our eyes to the Kingdom coming in our everyday lives.
If you’re looking for someone to think out loud with about what faithfulness to God and love for your neighbor looks like on an ordinary day, and how the truth that our King will make all things new forms us right now, then you’re in the right place.
I’m a storyteller and a teacher at heart. For those who desire to know God’s nearness fill the cracks and crevices of their lives and welcome his Kingdom as it comes on earth, I hope my personal stories and reflections point you toward the Risen Christ inviting you to know him right where you are, in the midst of the life he’s already given you.
About me:
I’m a Midwest native living in a quirky restored 125-year-old Victorian house in Colorado Springs, CO, with my husband, Matt, and our four kids: Sam (9), Noah (7), Henry (6), and Jane (4).
I love making and eating tasty food, our wonderful and weird neighborhood, good books, choral music, recommending just the right local restaurant to friends (and strangers who did not ask), my mini-van (never thought I’d say that, but there is so much storage), and breaking out the good snacks once the kids are in bed (yes, this is the third time I’ve mentioned something food-related).
You can also find my writing in Cultivating and on Substack.
I am a member of the Anselm Society, an organization dedicated to the renaissance of the Christian imagination. My family and I are endlessly grateful for the privilege of receiving and releasing the gospel that heals alongside the wonderful people of International Anglican Church, where I serve as churchwarden.
Just reach out if there’s anything else you’d like to know.
